Programs at the FOUNDATION

Support a Child initiative of The Ark Foundation looks at identifying and providing for the basic needs of children in government school and other balwadis to provide stationery, books, bags and uniforms. The support of the children provides them with things like slipper where most walk bare feet. A little goes a long way in providing for them and we are TAF are committed to reaching your support to the unreached. 1. Monthly support at Rs. 250/- for 12 months. 2. One time Support of Rs. 3000/- for 1 year. 3. Complete Support of 1 Child Rs. 2200/- per month for 12 months. 4. Complete Annual Support of Rs. 26,400/- (which includes, school fees, uniforms, books, stationery and tuitions - The details of the child, the term wise progress of the child, the overall progress will be shared once every 3 months, including the school where the child is studying) Please note that all donations made will be eligible for exemption under 80G.

Statistics show that there are many girls who do not receive the required hygiene care during their teens which results in a numerous health related problems and girls dropping out of schools at a very early age. The foundation works with social workers and volunteers in villages and schools to ensure that personal hygiene products are distributed to girls both in schools and colleges through the donations of its donors and well-wishers. Each kit of Rs.250/- will comprise of a pack of feminine hygiene products and iron supplements. Donations to The Ark Foundation, will qualify for deductions under Section 80G of IT Act 1961.

Meal-in-a-Box donation made by the donor for Rs.3000/- will provide a single serve of 40 food packets to be distributed among 40 homeless individuals (Variety rice + vegetable + pickle + water packet). Donations to The Ark Foundation, will qualify for deductions under Section 80G of IT Act 1961.

Elder Care Pack targets help that is needed in this area in reaching out to the elderly. The general condition of these elders who are abandoned, need a little support. So if you are interested in contributing please pledge ₹1000/- towards the same. Lets make a difference to the elders who have nobody, lets pledge an Elder Care Pack. Each care pack costs ₹1000/- which includes (Horlicks + Pack of Biscuits + Herbal Soap + Waterproof reusable sheets). There are many children in our rural areas who do not have the basic amenities to aid their education, from schools that are far away to teachers being absent at the school, children try an get through each day trying to complete their studies and daily work, only to be riddled with power cuts and long endless dark hours. With summers fast approaching and the worry of load shedding starts. We TAF are providing a solar solution for every home in such areas of need with a backup of 5hrs. A standalone solar lamp that can be recharged and used by the children, costs Rs. 1000/-. Lets do our bit to aid our children in need and support the Light a Home initiative. The Ark Foundation through it many donors singly or collectively organizes medical camps in villages, remote areas and schools to enable them to be checked periodically and suggested better modes of treatment if any at hospitals and other specialty centers. The Foundation works with welfare workers in such areas to see where the need is most needed and organizes these camps for children. elders and women. A donation of Rs. 5000/- enables the Foundation to organize such visits to check overall health, diabetes camps, eye camps and general health-checkup camps. Donations to The Ark Foundation, will qualify for deductions under Section 80G of IT Act 1961.

WE can WE will and WE can forever push on is something that TAF believes in strongly and is committed to working with women to empower them at their homes to learn and start home based commerce unitsThe WE initiative works with small villages and communities empowering women through the start and nurture of such units.

Giving is just not about making a donation, its about making a difference. While cash donations are the mainstay, in-kind donations of goods also play a helpful part. The institutions being run are orphanages, old-age homes, children's homes, shelters, schools.
